A great marriage is not far from you. That's if you know what to do. If you don't, it can become hell. In this Part 7 of the series, I bring you 15 more nuggets of truth to help you in your (future) marriage:
91. It may not be possible to avoid pain but misery is optional. Unforgiveness retains the hurt.
92. The love that does not trust is defective and corrupted love.
93. Jealousy is bad but indifference is worse for jealousy has love tinged with distrust and fear whilst indifference is the death of love.
94. There are different shades of love opposites: distrust, indifference, resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness, hate.
95. Love that does wrong to your spouse is either immature or corrupted.
96. If a man loves you, he will do everything to marry you. If a man lusts for you, he will do everything to sleep with you.
97. Ladies, if you set the bar low, most men will not raise it.
98. A man who cannot withstand family pressure is a poor protection for his wife. She will be on her own when the fire is on for example if there is delayed childbirth.
99. Life often does not present us with easy answers. Many a complicated relationship and marriage need focused counseling and prayers.
100. When it's right to quit a relationship that is going no where and you foolishly hope time will resolve issues, you end up losing better people you could have married.
101. If you are always right the time might come when you will be right by yourself alone in that relationship.
102. The trouble in falling in love at first sight is that you may not be able to pull yourself out or allow others to do so if he is no good for you. For example, if he lies and cheats on you. If I were a lady and find myself fall in love I would so conceal it until my head can agree with my heart.
103. When married people are living like they do not need each other, they are merely co-existing and not living a married life.
104. Marriage is play. If it is play you learn to have fun and enjoy it. You find each other a pleasure. So rule one for marriage is to find someone that gives you pleasure, one that's a pleasure to be with. Marry a friend!
105. If you are happy as a person you can make a happy marriage. Marriage is not a happiness machine. Marriage is what you and your spouse bring into it. Be constantly working on your marriage.
