IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MARRIAGE TO BE HELL - PART 8

A great marriage is not far from you. That's if you know what to do. If you don't, it can become hell. In this Part 8 of the series are 15 more nuggets of truth to help you in your (future) marriage:

106. Marriage is great if both people see it as a place to practice unselfishly loving another person and living and doing things not for what s/he will get.

107. Marriage will reveal you to both yourself and your spouse - whether you are generous or me-minded. It's better now to practice being your best self and to be honest in relationship as what does not work for one eventually does not work for both.

108. If you do not have a space in your heart, thoughts, time and deeds for me, how can you say you love me?

109. A healthy relationship gives each other space to be themselves.

110. Marrying someone with the hope he or she will become a better person (if you love him/her) is a sure way to disappointment in marriage.

111. You want God to help you give you a good man to marry but you are not interested in conducting yourself as God would want you. Continue to fool yourself in your wishes and sacrifices devoid of obedience.

112. The secret to a good marriage is not in finding an ideal person to marry but in becoming an ideal person to marry.

113. Sometimes love is overrated. Ladies mostly feel that their love will make up for a man's irresponsibility. A lady will live in this make-believe world until the strain from the man not living up to his responsibility exerts too much strain on the relationship than her strength can carry.

114. Where a marriage is working there is someone or both people making it work. Work daily on your marriage!

115. "Maybe" is a simple word that destroys many marriages. "Maybe my marriage will work," It creates the wrong mental image and results in a marriage that is easy to quit. You need to replace that word with "must." "My marriage must work." It must work because I'm committing myself to making it work and I won't marry anyone without a similar commitment.

116. You feel you must try out someone to see if he can satisfy you sexually before you marry him. Continue to help yourself and prepare to figure out everything you will meet in your future.

117. The man who cannot listen to anybody is a rebel and a disaster in waiting if you marry him.

118. He has money and flaunts it. She has beauty and lets it show. Beyond these, s/he does not have real interest in you as a person. I'm sorry for you if you say "Yes."

119. You're engaged and whilst you are preparing to get married, you have evidence that he's cheating on you. Yet out of shame of what will people say, you're going ahead with the marriage. Prepare for plenty crying and pains in that marriage.

120. Observe how he makes decisions. If he does not seek wise counsel and does not consider how his decisions will affect other people, if he marries you, that's how he will continue to make decisions over you.

HOW A MAN CAN MAKE HIS WOMAN FEEL SEXY...

1. STARE AT HER WITH DESIRE A woman feels wanted most by how her man looks at her. Men are visually stimulated beings so she will look to see if your eyes tell her 'I want you.' 2. LET HER KNOW WHEN SHE TURNS YOU ON She feels good when she knows she arouses you. If you are near her and with a hard on or thinking about her when you two are apart and find life in your boxer too hard for comfort; let her know. She wants to know she has an effect on you; even after years together she wants to know she's still got it. 3. PRAISE HER BODY Speak it, let her hear you talk so good about her sex appeal. 4. NOTICE HER EFFORTS If she gets a new hair do, a new dress, if she works out; let her know you are paying attention. 5. PROTECT HER FROM HERSELF A woman can sleep feeling sexy then wake up doubting her sexiness. One negative comment from someone can easily make her question her appeal. She might look at herself and not like her body weight, size or shape and she lowers ho...

Everything In My Marriage Changed When I Got Pregnant

I turn twenty-seven this September, and I have been married for almost a year now. Before we got married, my husband was quite the doting partner. He was always in my space and just couldn’t get enough of me. That was one thing I loved about him. It made me feel like he needed me to function properly. That’s the pace our relationship grew at, until we got married. A few days after we got married, I found out that he was cheating on me while we were dating. He had even cheated two weeks before our wedding. I confronted him about it and he admitted it. “Yes, I cheated before we got married and I’m sorry for that. But I want you to know that I respect our marriage vows so I will not repeat that mistake. It ended when we got married, trust me on that.” It was difficult but I forgave him and we moved past it. Apart from that cheating thing, the few months of our marriage were good. We were always hot for each other. I felt that was going to continue for a long time. And then I g...
